Vipers are the single-seat superiority fighters carried and launched by Battlestars. Vipers in the Reimagined Series come in two flavors: Coke Classic and New Coke. No one likes New Coke, which is why the Mk. II's are EPIC WIN.
Vipers come with software programed by the Colonies' Bill Gates. When the Colonies got toasted, the Mk. VII's were programed with Windows Vista. This made them susceptible to being h4xx0r3d by flying W's. As a result most Mk. VII's got trashed within minutes. Those that were left were reformatted to have a decent operating system.
The number of Vipers Galactica had was a problem for a while until Psycho Bitch showed up with a flying Viper factory. Unfortunately, it was soon totaled by stupid assholes who were too busy rubbing a hard six.
