- This is something that is in the process of being developed! It is not ready for primetime, though you are more than welcome to bitch, moan, or criticize it.
In order to devise a proper means of classifying articles, a rating system is being developed. Right now, this is called the Humor Level.
It will work on a five star system; 1 star being unfunny to 5 being hilarious. Obviously, all the results will be added and divided by the number of votes cast, leading to an average vote.
The actual names for the star ratings are as follows:
- 5 stars: Classic
- 4 stars: Devastating
- 3 stars: Chuckle
- 2 stars: Crude
- 1 star: Banal
Realistically, a majority of our articles should fall between 2 to 4 stars. This is more or less our goal. Anything that is considered "classic" is typically going to be our "Featured Article", anything with 1 star is typically worthy of being tarred and feathered.
