Analysis
A clear reference to 'Pilot's Ear', a degenerative medical condition common among Viper jockeys that is characterized by total disregard of any orders that the pilot disagrees with.

This sentence appears twice in the Pilot movie: in the beginning, when Starbuck runs through the corridor of Galactica, almost kicking up Aaron Doral and a bunch of visitors. The other appears when Starbuck saves Apollo from the Cylons.
