Viper Mk. VII

The Viper Mk. VII was the primary Viper model in use at the time of the Great Toasting of the Colonies. Presumably, it has better speed, endurance, armor, and weapons capacity than the Mk. II. Still, newer is not always better.

Like most of the ships in the Colonial Fleet, the Mk. VII was installed with Windows Vista. The Colonials discovered that the Cylons had some 1337 h4xx0rs working for Microsoft that had put in the program more holes than a certain brothel.

After getting pwn3d, what was left of the Colonial Fleet had to remove Windows from what few Mk. VII's they had left and rely on DOS. Unfortunately, this made the Mk. VII more than a handful for all but the most EPIC pilots. We suspect that this is because they get a lot of practice in the rack.

Still can't figure out if that gun on top actually works.
