Nu Craprica City is a shithole shanty town made up of tents and grounded spacecraft. Originally touted as a great new hope for the Colonials, it was almost immediately ground beneath the jackboots of the Cylon oppressors.
Like all effective authoritarian scumbags, the first thing the Cylons built was a huge prison, for the "care" and feeding of dissidents, activists, rebels, and basically anyone they objected to, or anyone who objected to anything they decided to do in any way, shape, or form (Whew! That was a long, torturous, drawn-out sentence!).
