Overview

Starbuck discovers a hidden musical ability after any abilities she discovered through the series[2]. Our favourite Chief fraks brings the worst decision of his life. Boomer is on the loose. Everyone is confused.

Summary

Teaser

  • The mysterious piano player plays a lame-ass song, while Stabuck is going through her dayly routine. No sex included.
  • Tyrol finds out, the religious Cylons want to hang Boomer for being a treacherous bitch.

Act 1

  • Anders is still in coma, the others sais lot of stupid things about it.
  • The piano player plays again in Joe's Bar
  • Hera draws a lot of dots, and gives it to Starbuck. She seems to be happy.
  • Boomer and the chief hallucinates together through the bullet-proof wall of the special cylon-holder.

Act 2

  • Kara talks to the piano player, and they compose a song together.
  • Boomer and Tyrol take another leaf of LSD secretly.
  • Kara sais his father taught her a song to be played on piano. No one believes her.

Act 3

  • The chief manages to cut off the power, hit a Number Eight on the head with a wrench, and switch her for Boomer.
  • Boomer has sex with Helo, and goes to the daycare, stealing Hera, pretending to be Athena. No one even thinks about the fact, that Sharon Agathon is in a locker, tied up.

Act 4

  • Starbuck plays the song her father taught her, and the Fantastic Four realizes, she plays a cover for Bob Dylan, runs to Starbuck, and when they arrive, the original piano player disappears, in the fear the others are going to sue him because of the copyright issues concerning the song.
  • Boomer leaves, with Hera in a box. What a cruel bitch she is. She jumps away with her Raptor in the vicinity of Galactica, so the old girl screams.

Notes

  • Gaius Baltar and Caprica-Six do not appear in this episode. Wonder, what they are doing.
  • Weeks have passed since the end of the mutiny, as evidenced by Cottle's comment about how long Anders' EKG readings have remained steady, and the dust growing behind Starbuck's ears.
  • After her apparent death in "Maelstrom", Kara's personal belongings were auctioned off. Helo has managed to get them all back for her. However, the only thing Kara is interested in is the tape of her father's music. Wonder what Helo wanted to do with her underwear.
  • Some of the music played by the mysterious piano player is from the original series. This is becouse the composer didn't want to work more on this episode. He worked hell lot on it, indeed[3].

Analysis

Galactica's condition

Galactia is an old ship. It is on the verge of destruction. Hey, it's the fourth season, and it's not Star Trek Voyager, to have the ship intact after those many battles.

The actions of Boomer

She acts like she always acted. Like a bitch, who seems soft on the surface, but has an evil soul of seven Cavils.

Starbuck's role

The piano player can be just another imaginary friend of Kara Tharce. Or he can run faster than everybody thought.

Questions

  • What the frak??
