The first season was the second-coming of the all-in-digital goodness of the Space Bible, featuring a lot of sex, b00bz, Shit Blowing Up, and so on.

After the Miniseries, this piece really stood its place in the universe of digital television, gained popularity for sci-fi channel, so when the holy first seasona aired, even Private Gold reported lack of viewers.

The season had an amazing cliffhanger at the end, there were so much storilynes in the last episode, I can't count them on one hand. Those were the good days of Battlestar Galactica, with real tension, and so on. And then, we hoped it will last at least 6 more seasons, as good Ronald D. Moore did with Deep Space Nine. Sorry he screwed up Season 3, so he had to finish it in one other season.
