The New Caprica Resistance rages against the machine, both literally and figuratively.
Like the band, they're actually a part of the machine they're raging against. Though they are unaware of it at the time, they are led by 3 of the 5 Final Five Cylons. Oh the irony.
The irony deepens when some of the Resistance members become The Circle and start administering the Jammer Treatment to Cylon collaborators. By that rationale, they should stuff themselves in the airlock and pull the lever.
