Kara Thrace

Kara "Starfrak" Thrace is a conflicted mess who is good with a stick. Most of this comes from the fact she has a destiny... which was to piss off the fans with her stupid affair with her dead fiancee's retarded brother. Also, she was super-powered in the first season, being the best at pretty much everything until she landed on whatever hellhole Helo and his frak-bot were on.
That means she can fly men as well as she can fly a Viper ... which means both tend to crash and burn. Not even her husband can escape this fate.
Thrace also has the tendency, shall we say, to make herself available to many of the men on Galactica. Maybe she would have done the same to Admiral Cain had she lived.
Death
Fascinated with a circular bulls-eye, she decided to pretend her viper was the arrow aiming for the Bull's Eye. Unfortunately the target was on a gas giant and her ship appears to have exploded.
Return from the Dead
Oh, and she came back from the dead somehow. In a new TEH SEX fighter.
After this she managed to take out 2 marines, her Cylon Hubby (her very own frak-bot) and the presidential security detail. All this bad-assery though was not enough to even disturb Laura "Air Lock" Roslin.
She gathered special musical abilities after death.
Special Destiny
And, after all, she hes a Destiny. Leoben told her. Three or more times.
