The iPatch is Rummy's personal eye-patch.

Developed by Apple during the first Cylon War the iPatch is a revolution in eye wear. Both practical and aesthetically pleasing the eye patch was fashioned after the ones made famous by Captain Jack Sparrow and Xander Harris in the early 21th Century.

During the initial advertising campaign the product was endorsed by Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix in a rare collaboration on the song "What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor".

Whilst inebriated the iPatch's wearer (Saul Tigh) experiences auditory hallucinations thought to be emmanating from the ship. This was in fact the iPatch's inbuilt software kicking in.
