I can't go on. I just played the trial version of this piece of shit and I couldn't even pretend to take it seriously.
2D games that don't accept their fate as 2D games and try to add a pseudo 3rd dimension for looks will never, ever work. Do you remember Star Control 3? I didn't think so. No one does ... and for good reason.
Hell, Battlestar Galactica the Game was better, and you had to be a l33t gamer to beat that. Plus it had better graphics, and kickass cutscenes.
Just play Beyond the Red Line or Fleet Commander. One's free and the other requires a game that's probably dirt cheap on eBay. Oh, and they are real 3D too.

To its credit, I saw a good variety of Colonial craft you could "fly". If you want to call it that.
