Galen Tyrol ... where to begin? I'm overwhelmed. Cally obviously married beneath herself. Not only does he have bad taste in women (Cally aside, of course!), he's almost as bad as Helo when it comes to being struck by an existential crisis every time something might actually be done to improve the lot of the Colonials. GET SUCKING UP THE ALGAE, FOOL! WE NEED TO EAT! NO TIME TO WANDER AROUND IN A RELIGIOUS TRANCE!

He is always in trouble... He has trouble with the XO, becouse he could only save the ship by sacrificing 45 from the damage control team... Poor Prosna included on the death list. To get revenge on Tigh, he disregards his orders about stopping his affair with a Cylon agent, so he sacrifices his friend Socinus, he gets in jail, and then gets burnt to death. In season 2 the chief has trouble with an officer of Pegasus, on the side of Helo, and almost get killed. In season three he has trouble with extracting the algae, and turns out to be a Cylon, wich fact he has troubles to face in season 4.

Never wake this guy up when he is fast asleep, he will flip out and break your jaw - fight club style. Like he did to Cally - who being a lamo, then goes on to marry her.

From being bound for the cutting room floor, to being one of the Final Five Cylons. Such is the luck bestowed upon mighty Tyrol. Too bad some of that luck didn't rub off on poor old Jammer.

After Cally gets frakked, Galen wants to frak himself, but is unable to pull the trigger. Instead, he condemns himself to a worse fate: listening to Baltar's speeches.

On Earth, Galen sees his shadow, meaning there will be six thousand more years of nuclear winter. Unlike Rummy's pining for his saucy wench or Samuel Anders's soulful performance of a classic Dylan song, the Earth-born Galen Tyrol's final thought before nuclear incineration was about guacamole.
