Cylon Raiders were some kind of flying pancakes, but they evolved into lethal flying Batmobile-K.I.T.T. hybrids, and with their flashing KITT-lights they could disable the viper mk. 7s, but couldn't harm Lee Adama's oldschool X-win... viper mk 2 or what. Some raiders have scars on them, and fly like hell. Raiders can be such a bitch if encountered by Sam, and refuse fight. This can only be cured by massive lobotomizing. Sorry.
