The Cylon Forgiveness Ceremony is first revealed to mankind in the Episode "Embrace Verbosity"

After finding him drooling over her while she sleeps, Caprica-Sex realized that Rummy isn't drunk and is feeling really guilty about it. She offers to remove his pain, using the "Cylon Forgiveness Ceremony".
