Battlestar Wiki is populated by a host of characters, many of them well-meaning but utterly humourless. They protect their sacred encyclopedic mission with zealously zealous zeal. Actually, they must have a sense of humor, because they made this place. Oh the paradox!
To it's credit, it's nowhere near as frakked up as Wikipedia, or most any other Wiki, for that matter. In the not-so-humble opinion of this editor, it's the best of them all (But don't tell any of them I said that. I'm trying to play the asshole here! ;) ). And of course, they allowed Silly Pages to exist in the first place, which is pretty cool of them.
Notice how the period came AFTER the closing parentheses. Am I well trained, or what?!?!

Why we're here
The population of Silly Pages was beginning to grow, and threatened to disrupt the entire mission of the Wiki. After several attempts, failures all, to travel back in time and prevent the Silly Page category from ever being created, the bureaucrats of Battlestar Wiki came upon a brilliant idea!
They would create and host an entire new wiki DEDICATED to Silly Pages! Proponents of Silly Pages could rejoice in their own space, while the quality of the Battlestar Wiki would no longer be disrupted by such silly, non-sequitir, non-canon, subjectively funny, clusterfrak 1% of articles!
Living in fear
All Silly Pages on Battlestar Wiki now live in fear of what they call "The Coming of the Great White Mop". They figure it's only a matter of time until they have to live permanently in the Wiki Frakr. Or maybe I'm just a paranoid frakker. Probably the latter.
