Battlestar Pegasus

Battlestar Pegasus is the show where Galactica got scrapped after the battling the Cylons over planet shithole. The only changes were to the name and opening credits, completely erasing Galactica. The "pilot" featured the aftermath of the battle of Nu Craprica, when "the Bucket" was pretty much torn apart by the retards who settled on the shithole and William Adama took over the Beast from his incompetent son. After that, the show was pretty much the same.

However, no body figured out how to add more big guns on to the top and bottom of the ship, but they kept the parts... somewhere. And the Season 3 finale had Pegasus blow up the basestars and capturing a Cylon-controlled battlestar... which was like the Valkyrie. Which meant the finale was EPIC WIN, unlike Season 2's (kind of like Season 1's finale).

They didn't need the Viper factory anyway

Even though it would be the correct move from a military logistics standpoint to scrap the older, less functional battlestar, it never happened. Instead they sack the one with the Viper factory in it. Idiots.
